A workshop, not a product line
Small tools, built local-first and let loose.
Sudama Labs is where standalone software experiments get a home. Each one runs entirely in your browser — no accounts, no uploads, nothing to install. This is the first.
Experiment 01
Webcam Studio
● LiveA high-quality webcam and screen recorder that runs in a single browser tab. Record yourself, your screen, or both — with a teleprompter that listens to your speech and highlights the next words as you say them, so you can read a script without ever looking away from the lens. Everything is captured and saved locally; nothing is uploaded.
- Webcam or screen share, with live picture-in-picture overlay
- Speech-following teleprompter (or steady timed scroll)
- Adjustable pace, font size & highlight — live, mid-recording
- Burned-in watermark, previewed exactly as it records
- MP4 (H.264/AAC) or WebM up to 4K / 60fps, pause & resume
- Every setting and your script saved on-device
The fine print
License
Webcam Studio is dual-licensed. Use it free under the Attribution License, or remove those conditions with a paid Commercial License.
Free Attribution License
- Free to use, copy, modify, and share
- Keep the copyright notice and license text
- Keep the built-in watermark and its default credit — in the app and in recordings
- No selling or paid redistribution
Paid Commercial License
- Everything the free license allows
- Remove or customize the watermark and credit
- Sell, sublicense, or bundle into a paid product or service
- Terms and pricing on request
Source-available, not OSI open source — the watermark condition makes attribution payment-conditional. Full terms in the LICENSE. Commercial licensing: contact the copyright holder.
